I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought.

CONNECTING PEOPLE.

God has uniquely made you! Like a puzzle, each piece is different and needed. In this journey, God has called us to help and encourage each other. Not only because we are part of his family but because we need one another.

Hebrews 10:24-25: "And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another..."

uniting families.

Love in families is the heart of God, he is pleased when there is unity amongst his people because it benefits everyone.

1 Colossians 3:14: "Beyond all these things, put on and wrap yourselves in unselfish love which is the perfect bond of unity. For everything is bond together in agreement when each one seeks the best for others.

The Scriptures Inspired

The Bible is the inspired Word of God, a revelation from God to man, infallible rule of faith and conduct.

"...and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness..."

  • 1 Peter 1:23-25
"For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God. For, “All people are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of the Lord endures forever.” And this is the word that was preached to you."

  • Hebrews 4:12
"For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart."

The triune Godhead is comprised of three (3) separate and distinct personalities, The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit, who are eternally self-existent, self-revealed and function as one entity.

Jesus Christ, who is God manifested in the flesh, the second member of the Godhead, is man’s only hope of redemption that was purchased through his blood, became sin and sickness providing both salvation and divine healing for all mankind.

  • 2 Corinthians 5:17-21
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: Or Christ, that person is a new creation. The old has gone, the new is here! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sin Or be a sin offering for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God."
  • Isaiah 53:5-6
"But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all."

  • Romans 5:8-10
"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him! For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!"

The Holy Spirit the third person of the Godhead, guides the believer into all truth and exalts Jesus Christ. He convicts people of their sins, God’s righteousness, and the coming judgment. He comforts us and gives us spiritual gifts and makes us more like Christ.

  • John 16:7-11
"But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. When he comes, he will prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment: about sin, because people do not believe in me; about righteousness, because I am going to the Father, where you can see me no longer; and about judgment, because the prince of this world now stands condemned."
  • 2 Corinthians 13:14
"“All this I have spoken while still with you. But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you."

Discipleship is engagement in being a follower of Jesus Christ. We want people to become fully committed. Discipleship helps believers to grow in their faith, to grow in maturity and wisdom, and build their faith on a strong foundation so that they can then disciple and lead others towards Christ.

  • Matthew 28:18-20
"Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Baptism should be observed as commanded in the Scriptures by all who have repented and in their hearts truly believed on Christ as Savior and Lord. In so doing, they declare to the world that they have died with Jesus and that they have also been raised with Him to walk in newness of life.

  • Romans 13:13-14

The term “marriage” has only one meaning and that is marriage sanctioned by God which joins one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as set forth in scripture. Marriage is to illustrate the loving relationship of Christ and His church, with the husband loving his wife as Christ loves the church and the wife responding to her husband’s loving leadership as the church responds to Christ.

  • Genesis 1:27-28
"So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground."
  • Genesis 2:23-24
"The man said, “This is now bone of my bonesand flesh of my flesh; she shall be called ‘woman,’ for she was taken out of man.” That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh."
